Mmmm... in a comment I read: "If the pan gets hot enough to cook a small turkey - the video said it gets to between 350-400 degrees - how can the 3 pcs of duct tape attached to the edge of the reflector, survive without burning to a char?"
And a very, very good point! Maybe they meant INSIDE the cooking pan? I guess the light itself might not be that hot, but concentrated on the underneath surface of the cooking pan, it might get quite a bit hotter.... I dunno. Just summising, but might be a good explanation.
